It’s been almost two months since Skype released an updated version for the desktop. I have modified the installers for version 6.9.0.106 and the files are already available for download.
Here’s a quick run down what I change inside the original installers:
- Installs for all users instead of the current user only.
- Automatic startup is disabled. You can enable it on the settings after you install it.
- Deleted shortcuts from Send To menu and Desktop.
- Available on English and Spanish as default language. It can be changed after installation.
