Google recently decided to release the Android Platform Tools binaries as a separate download. This allows us to get the latest ADB and Fastboot files without the need to download the whole Android SDK.
My installer contains the original files and it adds the installation directory to the PATH environment variable so you can use ADB or Fastboot from any directory.
