Apple just released iTunes 11.0.5.5. The original installers can be downloaded from their site. The new switchless installers are on my server already. Skype has always offered a business version of their installer in MSI format. It can be found here. Facebook chat integration is missing in the business version, though. There is a regular offline installer in EXE format, but it can’t be extracted to get the MSI file to modify it.

Microsoft just released the Service Pack 2 for Office 2010. It is a roll-up of all previous updates and bug fixes. You can read the official description and improvements here. The 32-bit version weights 638.2 MB and the 64-bit version is 730.4 MB.
After using it for long time, I decided to make a custom installer for Mp3tag. It’s a great app for editing tags, renaming files based on these tags, writing tags from file names and more.
A switchless installer is a self-extracting file that can run any number of commands. They can be created with 7-Zip, WinRAR and other compression utilities. They are useful because users can just double click them to install or we can run them in unattended scenarios without any parameters.
