Microsoft released today Service Pack 1 for Office 2013. It’s the first service pack for their Office 2013 and it contains all previous updates and fixes, among new ones. Here’s the full description of the service pack.
If you like to maintain your installation sources with all the monthly and critical updates, you can extract the service pack files and copy them to the updates folder in your Office 2013 installation source. The command to extract any update, including service packs is this:
proplussp2013-kb2817430-fullfile-x64-en-us.exe /extract:"C:\office2013sp1"
The folder you want to extract to must exist before running the command or it will fail.
